(The following is to the Warriors involved in our training programs.)
With the MAN PWR goals, as you know, the P,W,R are already designated to refer to Prayer, Writing, and Reading. I experienced some significant inspirations yesterday while riding my bike and listening to conference talks.
One of the themes was, “If you love me, feed my sheep.” Primarily, Elder Holland’s recent talk on this subject really hit me again. We talk of Passion Projects in our work. We talk of being threats to Satan. We must make an effort to improve the lives of others if we love Christ and are threats to Satan. And if you “don’t feel like it”, you are already being distorted by Satanically stimulated chemicals. Fight back! Do something small and simple.
Gentlemen, I recommend you assign the “M” in your MAN PWR goals to posting daily in this email group. I suggest you commit to Ministering to your fellow warriors. Report in on your progress, then share something that empowers your fellow warriors. One sentence! One paragraph! “By small and simple things are great things brought to pass.”
I have seen a pattern where those who participate in Ministering to one another progress faster than those that do not. I have seen that those who fight the enemy as a team tend to win faster than those who “run into the Vietnam forest by themselves, hoping to prove that real men don’t need help.”
What say ye? Can you commit to, “I promise to be of service to you and allow you to be of service to me, until both you and I defeat this enemy that assails us!”?
Your fellow warrior,
