Chris Beynon

Chris Beynon grew up in Bountiful, Utah and was part of the first graduating class from Woods Cross High School.  He served a mission to Indianapolis, Indiana and graduated from BYU in marriage and family science.  In 1984, he married Cynthia (Kolts), and they are the parents of six children: Michelle, Matthew, Laura, Natalie, Sarah, and Nathan.  They also have 3 new in-law children, and 3 exceptionally gifted and highly remarkable grandchildren.   Chris has worked for the LDS Church seminary and institute program for almost 30 years, teaching seminary in Davis and Salt Lake Counties and teaching institute and coordinating religious education in New England, including parts of Massachusetts, Connecticut (Yale), Rhode Island, New Hampshire and New York (West Point Military Academy).  He received his Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Utah and has worked as a LCSW in Utah and Massachusetts.  He enjoys watching miracles occur as people utilize the atonement to change and heal them.  He and his wife have enjoyed being session directors throughout the country for EFY. Chris likes bowling, raising chickens, riding his motorcycle, restoring his old Ford, and being with youth.
